This competition marked 85 years since The Crystal Palace burned down and was a partnership between Upper Norwood Library Hub, the Crystal Palace Museum and Parakeet Books kindly sponsored by estate agents Martin & Co.
9 talented storytellers had their stories exhibition at The Crystal Palace Museum sitting alongside relics of the fateful fire including the helmet of one of the firefighters! Congratulations to Gemma, Louis, Eleanor, Annie, Macy, Nancy, Emilia, Louise, and our overall winning storyteller China.

What would YOUR Crystal Palace look like?
This competition was part of the London Festival of Architecture and invited young architects and designers of the future to unleash their imaginations and create YOUR Crystal Palace. In partnership wtih Penge Library and Penge BID.
6 talented youngsters had their designs exhibited at Penge Library, ranging from hand drawings and graphic designs to 3D Lego creations. Congratulations to Anthony, China, Louis, Gabriel and Bea, and our overall winning designer Ralph whose innovative design boasts 5 pod towers, an idea inspired by walking past Designer Drapers in Penge High Street.
